-1 1/2 cups chopped lacinato kale; 1 cup chopped green chard; 1 cup chopped carrot; 2 cups blueberries; 1 banana peeled; 1/2 cup goji berries; 1/2 cup cashew pieces; 1 heaping tsp coconut butter; 6 ice cubes; 1 1/2 cup cold and filtered water
Made 1.25 L/5.5 cups
Colour is brown
Moderately thick and creamy. A bit gritty. Not warm or cool. Dominant blueberry taste mixed with something else. Hard to describe but tastes good. It tasted nice before I put in the coconut and banana. Looks like chocolate milk. A dairy chocolate colour with black specks. Gels up if left to sit, as did all other drinks I made with blueberries. The greens are effecting the taste…but it tastes more nutty than green.
Put in the cashews, goji berries, water, and blueberries. Blended slowly from low 1-10 for about 15 seconds, then on high for about 30 seconds.
Put in the carrot, 3 ice cubes, kale and chard. Blended slowly from low 1-10 for about 10 seconds, then on high for about 30 seconds.
Put in the coconut butter, 3 ice cubes, and banana. Blended slowly from low 1-10 for about 10 seconds, then on high for about 20 seconds.
Pumped the speed from low 1-3 several times to get the air bubbles out.
