1030~Green Smoothie

-6 cups chopped black kale; 4 cups chopped red chard; 1  1/2 cup diced broccoli; 1/2 cup chopped carrot; 2 banana; 1 heaping tbsp hemp seeds; 1 heaping tbsp goji berries; 1 heaping tsp pumpkin seeds; 1 heaping tsp golden flax seed; 1 level tsp spirulina; 1 heaping tsp cacao nibs; 1/2 level tsp camu camu powder; 2 level tsp maca powder; 8 level tsp cacao powder; 1 heaping tsp chocolate syrup; 1 level tbsp coconut butter; 1 pinch stevia concentrate; 12 ice cubes; 1 cup cold and filtered water

Made 1.5 L/6 cups

Colour is green

Same preparation method as previous green smoothies. (see Nov 2010)

Knowing I don’t like the taste of chard in my green smoothie and having recently purchased some raw chocolate syrup, I thought i’d try putting the syrup in to cover the taste. It didn’t work. Another banana or apples would have been better, or just less chard.
I feel I eat too much of one thing…the kale. And am always thinking about buying chard. It’s hard to do when I know I won’t enjoy the taste of my breakfast and lunch as much.
